Stream Lion was a grade A show jumper ridden by Peter Charles and
Susan Macon. She is the dam of: Eagle Lion, winner of Badminton CCI****
1994.
Husyan by Alleged out of a Northern Dancer mare. Alleged was the
champion 3 year old in England and France (1977); 1st Prix de l'Arc de
Triomphe - G1 twice, Prix du Prince d'Oranges - G3; a4th leading sire
in England (1986 and 1987).
Lion King is an Irish Thoroughbred chestnut stallion. He is an
elegant mover and outstanding jumper. He is beautifully balanced with
a lovely disposition.
Until Lion King, Bruce Davidson had not settled on a stallion to
stand at Chesterland. Bruce's high standard to breeding top quality
show horses has been apparent with his very successful program at
Chesterland. Horses bred at Chesterland have included Snowy River, Our
Tribly, Good Force and Market Station. Bruce is confident that Lion
King will be an asset to any breeding program interested in producing
top quality sport horses.
